How we score

Every prefab unit gets six sub-scores from 0 to 10, weighted into one score out of 100. Makers without a verified price get a provisional score. Prices come from written quotes we received in 2026 and from public price lists, rounded into ranges. They change often: always ask the maker for a current proforma.

Price25%Factory price per m², adjusted for how many units fit in a container (freight efficiency), not the brochure headline.
Build22%Frame protection (hot-dip galvanized vs powder coat), fixings, insulation type and thickness, wind rating.
Warranty15%Years in writing for structure, corrosion, waterproofing and electrical.
Scale12%Monthly capacity and minimum order: can they deliver 10, 100, 300 units?
Design14%Does it look like a resort cabin or a site office? Glass, roof, terrace, finishes.
Trust12%Company age, certifications, verified reviews, real projects we could check.

Glamping stays are scored on experience, uniqueness, setting and value. Nightly prices are typical ranges for two adults, taken from official sites and major booking platforms; "est." means we could not confirm a live rate.

Makers can't pay to change their score. If you are a manufacturer and something is wrong or out of date, email hello@theglampings.com with a current proforma and we'll update it.
