Prices are factory prices: FOB (loaded at the maker's port) or EXW (at the factory). Sea freight, import duty, taxes, customs, trucking, foundation and installation are extra and vary by country. Pick a country above or open the calculator for an estimate. Photos show the type of unit, not necessarily that maker's model.

Questions buyers ask

Are the prices on TheGlampings the final price?

No. They are factory prices (FOB at the maker's port, or EXW at the factory gate) from 2026 quotes and price lists. Sea freight, import duty, taxes, port and customs fees, trucking, foundation and installation are extra and depend on your country. Use the shipping calculator to estimate them.

How much does a glamping cabin from China cost?

Most 20ft expandable houses quote USD 6,000–9,000 at the factory, apple cabins USD 8,000–13,000 and space capsules USD 12,000–20,000. Once shipped, taxed and installed, budget roughly 1.3× to 2× the factory price depending on how far you are and your country's duties.

Why does the number of units per container matter so much?

Sea freight is charged per container. A unit that ships two per 40ft container pays half the freight of one that ships alone. On long routes that difference alone can be USD 1,500–3,000 per unit.

What makes a unit beach-ready?

Hot-dip galvanized steel (not just powder coat), 316 stainless fixings, a marine-grade coating, rock wool or PU insulation of 75 mm or more, and a written wind rating. Filter by “Beach-ready spec” to see only those.

Can I import a prefab cabin into my country?

Usually yes, but rules differ: some countries charge duty on steel buildings, require local engineering sign-off or building permits, or need a certificate of origin. Ask a local freight forwarder and your planning office before you order.
